The northern suburbs are where metro Adelaide meets our country. Gawler, Two Wells, Angle Vale and Virginia sit right on the corridor between the city and the Yorke Peninsula and Mid-North that we work every week, so we are not a city-centre operator making a special trip, we are a regional team that is already out this way. We are honest about it: the deep metro-Adelaide solar market is a review-driven fight against very large players, so our focus here is the Gawler corridor, the new estates and the semi-rural blocks, where a genuine local who does the electrical side properly competes well.
Northern Adelaide is really three different markets, and the housing tells you which job you have. Established Elizabeth and Salisbury homes are often ex-Housing-Trust or mid-century builds with dated switchboards and small original systems, so the work is switchboard upgrades plus a solar or battery retrofit, or upsizing a system that was never big enough.

And out on the Northern Adelaide Plains, the semi-rural market gardens around Virginia, Two Wells and Angle Vale run glasshouses, pumping and irrigation, packing sheds and cool rooms on three-phase supply, which is exactly the kind of larger three-phase work most metro installers ignore.

One approach won't suit three different markets
On an established Elizabeth or Salisbury home, we usually start at the switchboard, bring an old board up to standard, then retrofit solar and a battery or upsize a system that never covered the household. On a new Munno Para or Angle Vale estate roof, it is the clean-sheet job everyone wants: a well-sized 13.2 to 15 kW array, a 20 to 30 kWh battery and a home EV charger set up to charge the car from your own sun, all in one visit.
Out on the market gardens, it is heavier again, three-phase solar for glasshouses, pumping and cool rooms, where the daytime load matches generation.
