The Barossa Valley is Shiraz country and one of Australia's busiest wine regions, with denser townships at Tanunda, Nuriootpa, Angaston and Lyndoch surrounded by working wineries, cellar doors and rural blocks. That is a very different power profile from town to town, and we design around your property, your energy use and your long-term goals rather than a template.
The standout here is the wine and hospitality trade. Cellar doors, restaurants and wineries run heavy daytime loads, refrigeration, cool rooms, must chillers, tank cooling, crushing and pumps, that line up almost perfectly with solar generation, and nearly all of them are on three-phase supply. That makes commercial solar a bigger part of what we do in the Barossa than in most towns, and it is a segment the residential-only installers under-serve. The biggest loads, refrigeration, cool rooms, must chillers and pumps, run right through the daylight hours when the panels are producing, and they spike over vintage and the peak tourist season. We profile that demand properly and size a three-phase commercial array to match it, so the system offsets the power you actually use rather than exporting it cheaply, and we handle the three-phase connection, metering and switchboard as a licensed contractor. Add battery backup and your temperature-critical stock rides out a grid outage.
On homes and hills blocks the job is more about doing the electrical side right: switchboard upgrades and meter relocations on older Tanunda and Angaston houses, and careful panel layouts on heritage or awkward roofs.
